On July 23, 2020, Mr. Li Xiaoqiu, the management representative of Banghe foundry, trained all department supervisors and logistics personnel in 8D method.

Before the training, Mr. Shen Changlong, general manager of the Banghe foundry, made an important speech. He pointed out that the company would select excellent management and technical personnel from within to give training to everyone, and would build a learning-oriented organization and establish a learning-oriented enterprise by strengthening employee training. General Manager Shen hope all employees of the company can learn all kinds of training that will be held, master more skills and knowledge, improve themselves, and achieve maximum value.

During the training, Mr. Li explained the history and development of 8D in depth and patiently through a large number of real case analysis, which fully demonstrated the application method and effect of 8D to everyone.

Through this study, each student has mastered the new management tools, providing practical help for the efficient development of the management work in the future, especially in the product and quality problems, can do systematic screening, step-by-step and effective solution to the problem. During the training, we saw that Mr. Li had prepared a lot of materials for the training, which made us feel his serious responsibility for the training and hope that the students could deeply grasp the essence of 8D.

8D——Eight Discipline, Eight steps to deal with problems, there are the team, problem description, provisional measures, root cause analysis and corrective measures and implement corrective measures within a validation, the organization, the implementation of preventive measures, completing the process of problem solving in Eight steps, each of these steps are carried out in accordance with the PDCA cycle of treatment, of which the fishbone diagram is used intermittently, 5 WHY according to analysis method, is a comprehensive solution to the problem, is mainly used in the products and the processing of quality problems.

The internal management training mechanism initiated by Ford and adopted by a large number of companies today not only improves the management level of enterprises, but also ensures the high standard production control of product quality. At the same time, 8D is widely used in all walks of life and daily life.
