2020From September 18 to 19, 2002, the company's management department invited NQA training lecturer Yang Bin to give our project team and department leaders a two-day special training AIAG-VDA FMEA. Our company's project engineers, quality engineers, workshop process engineers, system management engineers, company leaders Li Zong, Tan Zong and Dubaosi customers Li Gong, Industry and Trade Manager Zhao, and AIA Yuan Gong participated in this training.

Before the training, Mr. Li Xiaoqiu, the management representative of the die casting company, briefly introduced the relevant plans of the training.AIAG-VDA the principles, methods and practical operation of PFMEA documents, the purpose of this training is to promote the smooth conversion of the company's PPAP documents to meet the requirements of BMW and Ferrari customers.

In the training, the teacher first briefly introduced the correspondence between the three documents (process flow chart, potential failure mode analysis, control plan) and their correspondence with the work instructions. This paper briefly introduces the meaning of FMEA, the evolution history and the positive significance of its implementation, as well as the preparation principle of the AIAG-VDA PFMEA document-"seven-step method" and the similarities and differences between the method and the previous version.

FMEA(Potential failure mode analysis)Is in the product design stage and process design stage, the composition of the product subsystems, parts, the composition of the process of each process one by one analysis, to find out all potential failure modes, and analyze its possible consequences, so as to take the necessary measures in advance to improve product quality and reliability of a systematic activity. Because the design work is mainly completed in the host plant, basically does not involve DFMEA (design potential failure mode analysis), so our company will AIAG-VDA the preparation of FMEA (process potential failure mode analysis) documents as the primary task of this training.

AIAG-VDA FMEAThe manual has been changed by AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group, American Standard) and VDA (German Automotive Industry Federation, European Standard) and will enter into force after the completion of the transition in IATF16949. The new version of FMEA adds new contents to the original VDA "five-step method" FMEA. The contents of the new version of FMEA are: 1. Planning and preparation (defining scope boundary);2. Structural analysis; 3. Functional analysis; 4. Failure analysis; 5. Risk analysis; 6. Optimization; 7. Results documentation. The new version of FMEA adopts the "seven-step method". How to effectively implement the "seven-step method", how to integrate structural analysis, functional analysis and failure analysis into FMEA forms, abandon the filling method, and apply FMEA to product development activities are the main contents of this training. It is worth noting that the new version of FMEA replaces the original RPN value with AP in risk analysis, I .e. it is no longer necessary to calculate the product of severity (S), frequency/occurrence (O) and detection (D), but to determine the risk level by looking up the table.

The feedback of this training was good, thanks to the excellent professional level and meticulous and patient explanation of the teachers of the training institutions. During the training process, the teachers interacted, discussed and brainstormed with the engineers present from time to time. The atmosphere was warm and the participation was high.

At the end of this training, Mr. Li made a concluding speech. He said that because of the implementation of the new version of FMEA, it involves the transfer of IATF16949, which is a systematic project. Most of the domestic similar enterprises have not been carried out. Our company is at the forefront of the industry. The first purpose is to meet the requirements of foreign customers BMW and Ferrari for the new FMEA. He stressed that the transfer of the new version of FMEA cannot be accomplished overnight, but as long as every employee of the company is active, fearless and persistent, the transfer of the new version of FMEA will be able to land smoothly.
